Kids Ministry serves Birth - 5th grade.

We love kids…your kids! Big Creek’s children’s ministry is safe, fun and engaging. Our teachers are invested in your children’s future relationship with Christ, and they work hard to create a space where kids are cared for and known. We strive to create an environment where children enjoy learning about Jesus.

Children's Check-in

Parents will need to check in their children and infants at the station near the front entry doors.  Please allow extra time on your first visit to get them registered for their safety.  Our staff will show you to the appropriate classrooms.

Will my kids be safe?

We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up. The security code you receive at check-in is unique to your family and provides extra security at pickup. In addition, all volunteers are screened, interviewed, and background checked.

My child has allergies

Let us know about any food allergies when you register your child and we'll take care of it. Your child's safety and comfort is our priority.

What if my child needs me?

You can be confident that your child is well-cared for. However, should your child need you during the service, a staff member will come and get you.

Sunday School

Sunday School at Big Creek is a fun inviting safe space for kids to learn about Jesus. We use curriculum that is Gospel-centered, God-focused, faith-forming and interactive. The curriculum also walks the kids through the Bible chronologically in a year. We spend time in the Old Testament August through November, then focus on the birth of Jesus Christ in December. In January we start looking at the life of Jesus Christ until April when we take an in depth look at his death and resurrection. Then through May we focus on the early church and finish off the year learning about the Epistles and Poetic Books in June and July. The curriculum we use is called Go! Curriculum.
